Labor Day

We spent Labor Day with friends at Kyle and Elyssa's house. We had a fabulous time eating, swimming, and hanging out with good friends. Shea loved the pool, but she thought that it should have a slide. The other pool that Shea swam in during the summer had a slide, and this one didn't. Here's how the conversation about the slidewent:

Shea: Where the slide go, Daddy?

Jon: It's gone.

Shea: It's goooone?

Jon: Yeah, it's gone.

Shea: Where did it go?

Jon: Kyle broke it.

Shea: Kyle broke it?

Jon: Yeah.

Shea: Kyle broke the slide. It's gone. No, no, Kyle. Kyle go timeout.

Thanks to Jon, Shea was insistent that Kyle broke the slide and needed to go to timeout. Jon was quite tickled with himself over this one. Shea talked about it for days.
